Medarte was born out of our love for Mediterranean arts in general and handcrafted Berber art in particular. Growing up on the North African Mediterranean coast, I was exposed to the art of olive wood craftsmanship and hand made Klims from a young age.  Medarte  was established in 2017  in Chicago, Illinois as window into the beautiful world of handcrafted Mediterranean art.  We work with several workshops in North Africa to bring you the best hand made designed items made of olive wood, real wool and much more.
